Solar O&M / Business Development Manager (NC)

• Pay Range: $95K–$130K (based on experience)
• O&M 5plus and BD 5plus must have actual contacts in the industry currently.

• Details: We’re seeking a proven leader who understands the solar industry end-to-end — someone capable of driving new business, managing GCs and projects, and developing a commercial solar team quickly. This is a growth-focused role with significant opportunity for advancement. Based in Gastonia, NC, with travel as needed.

A solar O&M business development manager identifies and secures new contracts for the ongoing operations and maintenance (O&M) of solar energy projects, focusing on expanding a company's customer base. This role requires a blend of technical understanding of solar assets (PV systems, inverters) and business acumen, including market research, strategic planning, and contract management. Responsibilities often include acting as an owner's representative, managing client relationships, and developing strategies to grow revenue and improve market presence, especially in the utility-scale and commercial/industrial sectors.
