OBJECTIVES:          

Produce 1st quality material with minimal waste and downtime in a safe and efficient manner while achieving key performance indicators (kpi).  Maintain a clean and safe work environment.  Calculate and coordinate the raw materials needed for production.

 

GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:     

1. Apply skill acquired to cut and inspect a product that meets or exceeds customer

    requirements. This includes order changes, deletions, cut-off periods and any other

    changes pertaining to order maintenance.

2. Maintain all paper work and records in a correct and professional manner.

3. Keeping the material waste to a minimum.

4. Keep work area clean and free of debris.

5. Record data using calipers.

6. Prepare orders for shipment, verifying the product meets customer specification.

 

SPECIAL SKILLS / REQUIREMENTS:       

1. Positive communication skills.

2. Average math and reading skills.

3. Capable of using a tape measure and calipers.

4. Basic computer skills including the use of Windows based programs.

5. High School diploma/GED equivalent required.

6. Ability to meet production standards as set by the company.

7. Capable of walking and standing for long periods of time

8. Capable of lifting and moving a maximum of 25 lbs.
